Hi Colin,
Joe and I are thinking about you as you get ready to leave. We weren't sure of the departure date. I bought some cards to send along the way. Don't know if you got my message via Kari's blog last week, but if not, it was great to see you at graduation. And to meet your parents and aunt. We regreted not being able to say goodbye in person and to wish you well on your trip. Godspeed and enjoy the ride. This is an amazing thing you are doing! Best wishes and we'll write soon. Linda & Joe

Your final day of prep, hope all is going well. Let the wind be at your back and have fun. I can't wait to see some pictures. Love Dad

Hey Colin,
My daughter Dana knows someone from George Mason University who's doing the ride, one Devin Rood; say hello if you happen to bump tires. It's hot as Hades down here in southwestern Virginia so I hope your more northerly route affords you some respite from the bake.
Ride strong!
